The purpose of the organization known as Womens
Ministries within the Evangelical Presbyterian
Church is to provide opportunities for women, as
individuals and in groups, to grow in the
knowledge of Christ and to have an avenue for
ministry.
The basic principle is to build a network of
mutual concern and support for women of various
interests within a congregation. Our goal is
two-fold: maturing in Christ through Bible study
and prayer, and ministering in Christ through
fellowship and outreach. In this manner, we
help to
prepare God's people for works of service, so
that the body of Christ may be built up.
